Hawassa University to Host the 3rd Annual Congress of CSESE
The Computational Sciences and Engineering Society of Ethiopia (CSESE) will hold its 3rd Annual Congress from July 26-27, 2024 at Hawassa University. The two-day event, which will feature both in-person and virtual participation options, is being organized by CSESE, with collaborations from EURAXESS Africa, the College of Natural and Computational Sciences of Hawassa University, the European Union Delegation to the African Union, and Safaricom.
Prior to the main congress, on July 25th, there will be a day of pre-conference hands-on training sessions covering topics like, Machine/Deep Learning with python, and DFT codes with Gaussian, GPAW, and Quantum Espresso software packages.
The congress will also feature discussions on collaboration and funding opportunities between Europe and Africa in the areas of higher education, research, and innovation. Information on mobility and career development prospects for researchers will also be provided. Regularly participate in fitness classes to enhance physical fitness.
